What a gem of a place! On our top 3 of all the places we’ve stayed around the world. Chris and Alexander were so lovely and responsive. We booked very last minute when our other place fell through 2 days in advance. This home is a beauty! The views, comfort, and amenities were luxurious. The property was expansive with little nooks with special interests (pond with water lilies, fire pit, garden with fresh herbs). We saw otters, bunnies, quail and deer families. There was not one thing we were missing. Beautiful places to go within 15-30 mins. Great food trucks just down the road too! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend away with my family.

Wow what an awesome house and property! Very private with great views of the basin and Sooke. Property has many interesting gardens and places to seat and take it all in. House is very modern in design and was very clean. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again!

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at this cozy and beautiful house. The private garden and dock made the property feel peaceful and special, and the ocean and mountain views were absolutely stunning. We were lucky to have sunny weather during all three days of our stay, and watching the sunset from the house was one of the highlights of our trip.
The home is warm, inviting, and very well maintained. The furniture feels new, the decor is thoughtful and comfortable, and the bedding was incredibly soft, giving us some of the best sleep we’ve had while traveling.
This is a perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends. Alex and Chris were wonderful hosts, always responding quickly to our questions and offering helpful local recommendations.
If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful, and relaxing getaway on Vancouver Island, I highly recommend staying here. We would happily return in the future.
